Could Fuqua Make Moon Knight?

Training Day director Antoine Fuqua recently revealed that he will be meeting with Marvel Studios president Kevin Feige about the possibility of helping a film in the MCU. He’s been hesitant to take on the superhero genre in the past, turning down Sony’s Morbius the Living Vampire.
Most MCU films haven’t been the kind Fuqua would enjoy. He’s not into the big-budget, special effects and tons of CGI. He also likes to have more control over his work than Marvel is accustomed to giving.
But there are some projects out there that have the potential to be a good fit, with Moon Knight at the top of the list.
A Moon Knight movie is currently rumored to be in development and if you look at the kind of movies Fuqua makes, it really is a perfect fit. Moon Knight could be a dark, gritty film with a low-budget feel. It’s certainly an R-rated candidate if the MCU is willing to go in that direction.
This is most likely what the meeting is going to center around. There aren’t many MCU projects that Fuqua would be interested in, and he may not take this one on either. But if there are any he would consider, Moon Knight would certainly be it.
I don’t know if this is a marriage that will happen, but Marvel is going to get down on bended knee and propose. The question is whether Antoine says yes.
