Dave Bautista Threatens to Quit GOTG
Dave Bautista, the actor behind Drax in the MCU, is threatening to quit the Guardians of the Galaxy franchise if James Gunn's script for Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 isn't used.
Bautista has been one of Gunn's most vocal supporters and has been hitting Twitter recently to express his displeasure with the director's firing.
Bautista says he did sign up to play Drax without Gunn and tweeted that it's "pretty nauseating" working for Disney after they gave way to a "smear campaign by fascists #cybernazis."
He's said that he will ask Disney to release him from his contract so they can write him out or recast him if they don't use the script Gunn has already completed, though he did say he will do what he is legally obligated to do.
Drax certainly wouldn't be the same played by any other actor, so killing him off in Avengers 4 would be the way to go.
