Gotham Renewed for Season 5

Gotham fans are thrilled that the series has been renewed for a fifth and final season.
While the next season will be the last, even one more wasn’t guaranteed. There was even a question whether the show would return for season four.
You couldn’t have expected the show to survive much longer. Bruce Wayne is growing into Batman and his rogues gallery are becoming the villains they’re destined to be. That’s what this show has been about; their growth, their backstory, what made them all who they are.
Because of that, despite the show improving in recent seasons, it had a limited shelf life from the start. It’s been one of my favorite shows on TV ever since it debuted and I look forward to seeing it wrap up.
Gotham won’t return until 2019.
