Jared Leto Cast as Morbius the Living Vampire

Hooray. Jared Leto is in another comic book movie. Tickle me pink.
Sony has announced that Leto will play Morbius the Living Vampire in its upcoming Spider-Man spinoff film.
In Marvel Comics, Michael Morbius was a brilliant biochemist with a rare blood disorder, leading to his vampiric condition. An antihero, his powers are essentially that of a typical vampire.
Leto joins an increasing number of actors to play roles in both Marvel and DC films. I suppose the good news is that he has to be a better Morbius than he is a Joker.
Like Venom, Morbius the Living Vampire will not be part of the MCU. If it were me, I'd make it rated-R.
